Ex e Breather Drain Plug
Breather Plug also known as Breather Drain or Breather Vent Plug or Conduit Drain is widely used in hazardous area electrical enclosures.
Metalmech Ex e (Increased Safety) Breather Drain Plugs are designed for hazardous areas, suitable for Gas Zone 1 & Zone 2 (Gb / Gc) and Dust Zone 21 & Zone 22 (Db / Dc) environments. These ATEX and IECEx certified explosion-protected breather drain plugs allow pressure equalization and effective drainage of condensation while maintaining the integrity of IP66/IP67 rated electrical enclosures. Ex e breather drains are made from brass or stainless steel and available in metric (M16, M20, M25) and NPT thread types.
