Metalmech manufactures Ex d Breather Drain Plugs certified to IECEx, ATEX, EAC & PESO standards, Gas Protection: Ex d / Ex db IIC Gb | Ex e / Ex eb IIC Gb / Gc (Zone 1 & Zone 2) & Dust Protection: Ex t / Ex tb IIIC Db | Ex tc IIIC Dc (Zone 21 & Zone 22). This Ex-Proof Breather Drain enables reliable pressure equalization and automatic condensation drainage while preserving the safety integrity of electrical enclosures in explosive atmospheres.
Metalmech breather drain plugs (available in nickel-plated brass or 316 stainless steel with metric M16, M20, M25 and NPT thread types) effectively prevent moisture buildup and pressure differentials in both gas and dust hazardous areas.
